I've got a cyclades (PC300) X21 card that needs HDLC support. Cyclades has got a whole document on how you recompile your kernel and then install the driver for the cyclades card. (driver with instructions can be downloaded here: http://www.cyclades.com/support/downloads.php#pc300)

I was wondering if it will be possible to compile a kernel and make an rpm package of the new kernel with the HDLC support (hopefully this can do the grub.conf changes as well). (I had a look at the kernel rebuild guide - I'm not sure if this applies? http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=29434)

Alternatively can an HDLC kernel module be compiled (and RPMed) that will work simaliry as the NTFS Kernel module. (I had a look at the thread regarding the kernel ntfs module)

This wil save me a lot of time when I need to do a lot of linux router PCs that will need the HDLC support. I'm a newbie when it comes to recompiling the kernel and building rpm packages.

Thanks! :)
