Hi im trying to setup a samba server on fedora core 3 in most other distributions to start samba server you simply type
#nmbd start
#smbd start
i am possitive that samba is installed but in fedora neither command works. How do you start the daemons?

Thanks in advance,
Paul

ok nevermind guys i figured it out. Just in case someone else would like to know you open a terminal and run system-config-services then it will give you a gui list of available services and you just need to find smb and click start.
