Hi,

I have just installed Fedora 2.6.12 but despite my best efforts I have not been able to configure my Dell 1150 Truemobile External PCMICA card to use WAN. My Internet Configuration Wizard shows Intersil Prism2 11Mbps Wireless adapter(eth1). Wireless Mode = auto, network name (specified)=******.
When I actiave it shows

"Error for wireless request "Set Bit Rate" (8B20) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Invalid argument. Determining IP information for eth1..."
I did install ndiswrapper but I have I can not run commands iwconfig -bash: iwconfig: command not found
or lspci commands.

Could someone point the right direction to proceed?

Thanks,
OE

SET failed on device eth1 ; Invalid argument. Determining IP information for eth1..."Are you using the wireless connection setting? Because eth1 is for another nic and not wireless which should be ath0.

Thanks for the reply! I checked my internet configuration wizard. My ethernet connection is eth0 and the wireless connection is eth1. If I create multiple connection they are labelled as eth0:1, eth0:2 etc....

I subsequently checked with a Dlink DWL G630 wireless card also. The Internet configuration wizard does not recognize it (unlike Dell which was identified as Prism) and I only have choice from eth0-eth7.
