View Full Version : How to connect 2 computer's using bluetooth network access for internet sharing

hi im new to linux ..please help me with my issues

i have 2 computers both having bluetooth devices
computer 1 runs on win xp
computer 2 runs on Fedora Core 4 (is connected to the web)


i want to connect them using bluetooth to access the net from computer 1 in computer 2

please help me out with this :confused:

You need to setup PAN(Personal Area Network). The bnep kernel module is required for this. I'll have to check what is required on the windows pc. It must be quite straight forward since a connection appears automatically in the Network connections window.

when there was windows xp on bot the computer where on a network and they could access web

now that i have installed fedora core 4 in one of them...now i want to configure/tweak just the one with linux so i can access the net from the computer with windows installed...

please help me

thanx for the reply.....Well tried it ....it hangs..when i send a request from my windows machine
