First ... I'm an utter linux noob ... had FC3 before on an old PC but that didn't have internet, soundcard etc so the real bottlenecks of Fedora I didn't have to worry about, and I only got to use it one week before a lightning strike burnt through the fecking thing. So basically got no actual linux experience.

I just installed Fedora Core 4 as secondary O/S on my Laptop, I'm using a Siemens Santis PCMCIA W-LAN card to connect to the internet, with no alternative - no network cable, no dialup lying around: it's W-LAN or nothing, so just FYI, can't use YUM or anything, only way to get programs on this thing is by downloading in windows, saving to USB disc, loading USB disc in Fedora, and then compiling.

I followed this guide to install NDiswrapper: http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/index.php/Installation#Downloading

I kinda skipped the first step though (setting up that link to the kernel, I got the version installed straigth from the FC4 CD from fedora.redhat.com, no updates done since no internet), but since I got no real errors that mentioned this I figured that's fine

There was this one message that came back I think ... that mentioned I was running in 4K atm and probably my windows drivers wouldn't work that way?

Anyway ... after installing ndiswrapper it speaks about running lspci ... but this command doesn't exist according to bash. Did I miss something here?

Also, since my CD that came with the WLAN card (Siemens Santis 802.11b once again) doesn't contain any INF/SYS files I been looking through linux google, but can't find a driver that would work with ndiswrapper with this ... is there any other way to find those INF/SYS files or do I have to buy another card? This one is just a few months old so would rather avoid that though :(

Greets,
Snel
