FC4 on Dell Inspiron 1000 Network card problem

I recently intalled FC4 on my Dell Inspiron 1000 laptop and everything works perfectly except my Dell Wireless LAN PCMCIA card is not recognized. I know that it works because I have a dual boot system with Windows XP and it works with that. I'm new to Linux and I've been reading some posts, but I still don't understand what exactly it is that I need to do. If anyone can offer advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Do you have the PCMCIA service started?

Yes, according to my service configuration network and pcmcia services are running. What should I do??
