Hi everyone I'm new here!

I have a little question!

I have an ADSL connection router that all the computers in my company (including the Linux server) are accessing this directly and are recieving the ip addresses through DHCP service, so I decided to fix a Bytes counter on the ADSL line to count uploads and downloads,

how to setup the counter on Linux server that the server is the only one having directly connected to the router and the others are connected to ADSL through that server by different ip addresses?

Your question is not so little... :rolleyes:

If your goal is just to monitor the usage on the network per workstation, then you might want to consider purchasing an SNMP Managed switch.

It can be done using Fedora but not in a single post on this forum. Unless someone else has some links to existing documents on the net?
