Running FC4, if you open any file window you have the option to "Connect to Server", choose the server, SSH protocol and directory information and user, boom your in.
How do I do the same but in fstab?
Thanks

for the stab, you are better off mounting it as if it were a networked filesystem ( via samba or NFS), is this a local mount or no???

This is on a local intranet. I currently have it mounted vi smb in fstab, but one day I was messing around and mounted it through the "Connect to Server" and by choosing SSH it was much faster. Overall file transfer was about the same speed but opening the folders is much quicker when mounted via SSH.
If I save my login information when mounting it does show back up on reboot but doing this through fstab is better i think.
I didn't use NFS because it doesn't stick with the same ports making my iptables and router configuration more difficult.
