I have been trying to do this for over 3 months and the only way I got it to work was by natting the internal traffic. Withou the nat, I can get accurate results for uploading traffic, but the download goes out of control.

Search for the cbq.init (sourceforge.net). The script itself, has a good documentation on how to set it up.

How many network cards do you have?

Hi Alcapon, did you manage to make it work? What are the details? Are you able to control download rate and upload as well?
Thanks,

First time I have a problem with bit torrent and p2p programs. Many clients download and upload. So I want to limit bandwidth all port not port 80,21,22.

I test many time with CBQ but not work so I found ipp2p and test it. It's working very good. Now bit torrent and p2p programs can't working in my network.
