Changing The Servers Network Name - Problems With SAMBA Share

I am having problems because I guess when I setup a Linux server FC4 I did not give it a unique name, now when the SAMBA share comes up on my windows machine it says it can not access it because the server has the same name "localhost".

I changed the etc/hosts file to be

127.0.0.1 cwhost2.cwdomain cwhost2

It still lists itself under windows as "localhost"

What else should I be doing here?

Thanks you guys are awasome, the PC guys take days or never to get back to me, you guys are almost right away, I have learned so much about Linux in the past few days because of you guys, tanks a million!

Oh I should mention that a local text mode terminal session also sees the server as localhost, I don't know why it's not picking up the changes in the hosts file?
