I have been having a problem with my xircom nic card and Fedora Core 1, yet this same problem also made me leave Lindows alone and move back into Fedora.Okay, here we go, wierd as this sounds, everytime i reboot or shutdown and power up again, i have to rest my network in "neat", or as some people use "rh-network-config", before doing so, i have to eject my card, listening for the beep when you disconnect an nic card and the reinsert it again, and activate the network on "eth0".After this, everything works just fine, but until i do this at each boot, and try to surf or otherwise, i just get hungup trying to connect to yadda,yadda.......I am using a xircom nic card on a Dell Inspiron 8100 Laptop, the module it uses i think is xircom_cs, after connecting again, my output for "cat /etc/resolv.conf ; netstat -rn" is as follows:
; generated by /sbin/dhclient-script

I have had this problem with two seperate 2.4.x kernel systems, one being debian Lindows 4.5, and the other being Fedora, yet these are the only two systems i use that implement the 2.4 kernel, i also have tried to recompile my own 2.6 kernell, yet still recieved the same problem, i am at a total loss, along with Lindows support which i happily paid for thinking it would solve my dilema, yet they are just as clueless.Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated, any other information requested in the pursuit of finding answer, would not be a problem, just post a reply.
Thanks in advance......
