Dell Inspiron 8100 FC1 Network Problems...........

I have been having a problem with my xircom nic card and Fedora Core 1, yet this same problem also made me leave Lindows alone and move back into Fedora.Okay, here we go, wierd as this sounds, everytime i reboot or shutdown and power up again, i have to rest my network in "neat", or as some people use "rh-network-config", before doing so, i have to eject my card, listening for the beep when you disconnect an nic card and the reinsert it again, and activate the network on "eth0".After this, everything works just fine, but until i do this at each boot, and try to surf or otherwise, i just get hungup trying to connect to yadda,yadda.......I am using a xircom nic card on a Dell Inspiron 8100 Laptop, the module it uses i think is xircom_cs, after connecting again, my output for "cat /etc/resolv.conf ; netstat -rn" is as follows:

I have had this problem with two seperate 2.4.x kernel systems, one being debian Lindows 4.5, and the other being Fedora, yet these are the only two systems i use that implement the 2.4 kernel, i also have tried to recompile my own 2.6 kernell, yet still recieved the same problem, i am at a total loss, along with Lindows support which i happily paid for thinking it would solve my dilema, yet they are just as clueless.Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated, any other information requested in the pursuit of finding answer, would not be a problem, just post a reply.

I found another post in this forum, where i had to change the order of which starts first, while booting up, i mv'd /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S24pcmcia /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S09pcmcia, making pcmcia start before /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S10network which makes perfect sense, why would i start network without starting pcmcia first, this aleveates of a previous error during boot where the network wouldn't start while booting into runlevel 5.Atleast i am making progress, still the same above problem persists.Also, i am using DHCP on a DSL routered LAN, static just doesn't work, because of dynamic ip settings from my isp.Yet i am not sure if this even means anything..Any help would be much appreciated.

Seems to work after a carctl eject followed by an insert. Note that the Xircom worked fine on my old Inspiron 7500 before under RH8 and this seems to be a repeat of a problem seen before on RH6 where the card wasn't ever fully initialised.

Note that under RH8, the card initialised late due to pcmcia startup delays which gave an error (like under Fedora) but after startup finished, it worked fine w/o further intervention.

Can anyone help me how to connect to Internet in FC2. I have these network h/w on dell inspiron 1150:
1) Dell Wireless WLAN 1350 Adapter
BCM4306 / BCM 2050
00:90:96:BC:2F:86

2) LAN : Broadcom 440x10/100 Integrated Controller

When system boots. It gives message that Determining IP from eth0 ...failed. Always it is in inactive state. I tried to activate but the same error appears.
What are the rpm drivers to be installed

Please suggest the name of network drivers, if it needs to be installed
