For all those UK based members, some of you may be aware of this UK based ISP, but for those that are not if you are planning on switching to ADSL or you are currently on dial up switch to this ISP and fund free software in the process as all profits go to teh Open Software development fund.

It's a great idea and worthy of support from anyone who believes in the ethos behind fedora et al. I'm switching my clients over as and when I can.

It's a great way to feel like you are actively contributing to the OS movement.

Before you ask I have no involvement in the site/business at all either financially or work wise except enthusiasm for what it is trying to achieve.

Maybe some of the non UK members could try the idea in their respective countries?!

We get discount internet (read 1/4 of the retail price), cos my Dad's a BT employee...

I like the idea, but won't be switching.

Cool idea, but american companies tend not to be real supportive of opensource or free software (maybe with the exception of cisco and ibm). Weve only got one broadband service in town, and i dont think theyll be supporting free software any time soon. Really cool idea though

you probably could here too, but only dialup isps. Broadband youre kinda screwed, you have the choice of paying the phone company or the cable tv company, and both of em screw u. but, i cant live without braodband, so i deal with it
