lame adsl connection

Hi,
Here' s the problem. I have got a small wlan running with my linksys WRT54G router connected to an ADSL modem. I am using fc4 and have already installed my linksys wmp54g wlan card. the network works fine and the connection speed is also ok as kwifimanager tells me. but my download and upload rates are just horrible. :confused: so how can i fix my rate?

ps.: how can i check my download and upload rates?

Perhpas is should also mention that i can perfectly use the internet with a nice and fine rate on my brothers laptop running xp

Hi,
I just installed the newest nvidia drivers for my 3d card and i don't know why but the connection speed is now perfect.
