I have a program that needs to open a display on my computer, but the files are on a remote computer. For some reason, it says
% Unable to connect to X Windows display: ipaddresshere:0
% Unable to open X Windows display.
Is your DISPLAY environment variable set correctly?
when I say "setenv" at the command prompt, the DISPLAY variable says my correct address:0. I tried saying xhost remoteserver and it says it was added, but it doesn't do anything. Anyone have this problem before?
