I'm trying to use Azureus for BitTorrents and I'm getting a NAT issue. I am behind a router, on a home lan network.

I'm sure someone would know how to fix this or get around the problem. I am able to download some things, really slow, but others won't go at all.

I have the TCP/UDP port as the default, 6881. Now i've read that this isn't what you want to use, but I don't know what I should change it to. or, how to see if it's trying to be used by some other program.

Thanks for your time,

I have my bit torrent run through ports 50056-50060. The ports are forwarded on my router and then I assign the bit torrent client to use those ports.

I'm a bit unfamilure with routers, how do you set that up? To allow for the port forwarding.

I know enouph about routers to understand how they work, and to know why it could be causing a NAT error, basically it doens't recognize the port, and so it don't know where to send the packet so it is lost or droped.. (plz correct me if i'm wrong on this)

thanks for the reply,
