Hi All! Totally new to linux..
I have Fedora 4 on my laptop
Compaq nx9005.
I have a Xircom cwe1000 wireless card, using the airo_cs driver.
The card is recognized by name in the Hardware Browser, and lights are flashing like it did in XP.
I am trying to connect to a 2wire HomePortal 1000sw.
The card worked fine in XP, However it will not pick up an IP address now.
If I manually set an IP address, and the gateway to the router's IP, the card is recognized as active in the Network Configuration Screen.
I have tried with WEP, Without WEP, and every other configuration possible in the Wireless Device Screens. Still no internet!
Any Ideas?
