I checked for the closing slash and it is not used throughout the page in any image, however it only fails in some cases.
The error log shows many errors, I will need to spend some time checking...

I got the same results in safe mode.

Yes, I already tested after rebooting and it works.
Note that I didn't remove any symlink... ...is still in my system.
I fixed my GoogleEarth installation by adding a missing xorg 32-bit library...

By looking at that post I realized that my system was missing: xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs.i686

GoogleEarth doesn't work in my F12 64bit system. It crashes after showing the splash screen.

I have the following link:
/usr/lib/libGL.so.1 -> libGL.so.1.2

So I unlinked it and GoogleEarth...

Installation is completed, but the software can't be launched.
