Fedora 8 64 on acer aspire 4520

Is this the right place to report bugs ? if not, please move my post

I'm here to report bug on my laptop, it's acer aspire 4520 it's specs are :
geforce 7000
amd turion 64 x2, 1,8ghz
RAM 512mb x 2 = 1gb
80 gb hd

the problem was there are strange crashes in normal user mode, the most noticeable things are in amarok, it kept saying there are something wrong with the xine engine. and some hardware config like network card would not even start or even ask for the root pasword, it just pops out in the task bar and the mouse would carry the icon as if it's opening it, but nothing happens after that.

and the funny thing is that everything works normally if i do it in root login, amarok plays the music, and config things just run like normal.

and the worst trouble and the strangest part is that the file system of the main fedora partition is not recognized by any distro (i used several live cd to test it, including knoppix), and no even the gparted in the installed distro itself, is it a new kind of file system ??? or something just went wrong ?

that's my report, and for now i think i'll try another 64 bit distro, it was a rash decision to make, trying out fresh distro when i'm still a newbie in the penguin world
