Hello:

Here's one way:
Code:
[root@presario Fri Feb 22 15:08:53 ~]# yum install yum-skip-broken
After it's installed, activate it by editing (as root user) the file /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/skip-broken.conf so that it reads:
Code:
[main]
check_always = 1
enabled = 1
Then try again:
Code:
[root@presario Fri Feb 22 15:08:53 ~]# yum --skip-broken update
Yum should then pass over any broken/unresolvable updates.

Regards,
V

Your repo configuration is broken, "lvn9" packages shouldn't appear on a F8 system. Post the output of "yum repolist".

Those files are "missing" not because you lost them, they are "missing" because you never had them. No, you cannot "get them back".

Markkuk is correct: your yum configuration is seriously faulty - I did not notice the "lvn9" tag in your first post, but I see many other serious problems now:
Code:
core                 FreshRPMS-Core                            enabled
updates              FreshRPMS-Updates                         enabled
It appears that your core and updates repos are pointing towards FreshRPMs, which is not the default and must have been altered. Also, you should not have Livna and FreshRPMs enabled at the same time because their packages often conflict. Finally, you should not enable any "source" or "development" repos unless you plan on doing development work.

Regards,
V
