I have Fedora 11 with GNOME. I can create desktop launchers to facilitate mounting remote volumes (e.g., shared folders across a network). GNOME does this by creating ".volume" files (similiar to .desktop files which are application launchers).
When I open a directory with several .volume files, they are not in alphabetical order. Even when I choose View > Arrange items > By Name it does not arrange them in order. When I ls -l the directory from the command line, they are in order.
Why doesn't the Nautilus window show the icons for the .volume files in order?
