Will no longer boot.

I installed a fresh copy of f16 beta just yesterday. All I did was a regular system update, then I replaced the reops with rawhide repo, once that update was completed and I had rebooted, fedora will no longer load. I know during the update I had to use --skip-broken because some packages had dependency issues, but I'm not even sure how to fix that.

Fedora starts to load, once it gets to where my login screen should show it, it just stays loading forever and never loads.

Re: Will no longer boot.

ummm.. if you enabled the rawhide repos, then you downloaded packages for Fedora 17, not Fedora 16.

Fedora 16 stopped using the rawhide repos quite awhile back.

You can try yum with the distrosync option and see if you can get it back to a F16 install.

Re: Will no longer boot.

Sorry about that. I was going by the page on the wiki. I did notice at the end of everything being download it said fc17, so I guess this would go in the rawhide section, not f16 development.

Are there any other options yum has to clean things up? I've used yum clean but that didn't really help.

I'll try the distrosync and see if that helps.

Is there a place where I can just download f17 rawhide spin? Or do I need to upgrade it from f16 beta each time until f16 is actually released?

Also, what is the best way to install rawhide? I used this page:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/Rawhide

And the commands:
yum install fedora-release-rawhide
yum --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=rawhide update

Did I do something wrong?
