When I open a terminal the above popup comes with it. I haven't found a way to get rid of it other than closing the terminal. It hangs around in the way and there's no click and drag which is irritating when I have other aps expanded with it obscuring portions. It goes away when I minimize aps and comes back when I click on one to do something.
There's an icon to the left of "q" and clicking on that brings another popup "Caribou preferences." Having no better idea I erased "Caribou," without effect.
Interestingly, it's non-functional: clicking on a letter has no effect. Single/double clicking left/center/right doesn't do anything I can see.
Hopefully someone has more ideas than me.
Everyone has more experience than me.
Puzzledly,

Sorry, a bit late here. I'm running F15 full version and have used the add/remove gui for a number of aps/support in a number of categories. Other than looking at every item in several categories and reading the descriptions I'm at a loss.
