watch a dvd help

Is there a trick to watching a DVD in Fedora? I have tried vlc, smplayer, gnome mplayer, and totem with no luck. I can watch any other video type with no problem so I don't understand what the problem is. I can also watch the DVD in Ubuntu, Linux Mint, and Windows with no problems.

Re: watch a dvd help

Do you have the codecs installed. Take a look at dangermouse autoplus

Code:
su -c 'yum -y --nogpgcheck install http://dnmouse.org/autoplus-1.2-9.noarch.rpm'

Thank you . It would be nice if one of those programs gave you some useful message.

Here's how you install it.

Code:
su -c "rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release.rpm"

I've only been using fedora for about a year so I didn't know that.
