Hi!
I'm trying to install Fedora 16 on two different HPs, an ML350 and a DL360. Both have the P410i Smart Array controller. In both cases, the installation runs with no problem, but the reboot hangs.
It appears to be trying to do the fsck on the first drive. After 60 seconds, I start getting messages that udevd is killing a modprobe process, and that continues forever.
I found references to problems with the cciss driver (rhbz#754907) that is supposed to be fixed, but installing the latest kernel doesn't help.
If you've gotten this to work, how did you do it?
Thanks!
