Fedora 16 sendmail is not starting

Guys

Having trouble with new Fedora 16, out of few problems, the major one at his point is sendmail, I tried to start sendmail by

systemctl start sendmail.service

but was not successful and got error
Job failed. See system logs and 'systemctl status' for details
The message logs says it was timeout
Then, I tried to reinstall and update the sendmail but same error.

Can anyone please help?

dont if that helps, but you could try:
yum reinstall sendmail

What exactly is the error message when you boot your computer?

If sendmail has problems resolving your local hostname then try to define it in /etc/hosts
