Fedora 16 - Can't reach adobe-domains

Hey there guys,

after I installed Fedora 16 and updated it to actual components I had to find out that the complete adobe-domain, including adobe.com and linuxdownloads.adobe.com are unreachable from my linux (dual-boot with XP)...

Currently installed is kernel 3.4.2-1 w/o PAE ... hosts is clean ... hosts.allow is clean... hosts.deny is clean... network is configured to not use DHCP and not to use IPv6, only IPv4 with manual settings, and as you may see by reading this post, network is accessible and internet, too! On XP there were no problems, firefox-settings are configured to not use IPv6... but yum isn't able to reach the domain, too!

Hope anybody can help me fix this st*p*d *****... ThX a lot for any helpful reply!!

Can you ping them? Do you get nslookup results back?

Ping says destination host unreachable...

dns caching via nscd is disabled... using google public dns like in xp: 8.8.8.8 ... by now no other problems with other domains

Just figured out that upnp.service was running and somebody could have opened the ssh-port... i got sabotaged, i think... anybody may help anyway?

I'd like to keep this installation...

Also check your firewall settings

iptables -L

I upgraded to Fedora 17 this night... the bug is gone now... thanks anyway! I keep these commands in mind if anything will ever be unreachable again...
