PCSXR not recognizing plugins

Hi, I've downloaded PCSXR installed, and used successfully with the included plugins, but when I try to add the linux plugins at http://www.pbernert.com/, which are what I generally us for the Windows version, they are not recognized. However, my BIOs file is recognized in the bios folder.

I put them in "/home/(MyUserName)/.pcsxr/plugins"

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
