Upgrade from FC4 to FC5 test2

I tried to upgrade FC4 to FC5 test 2. It fails. It seems that the installer thinks that I don't have any disks on that machine.

Has anyone seem this and if so, how do I correct it.

Thanks

As I read the link, there are 2 ways to update:
1. Install the latest kernel and then run a yum update
or
2.boot to dvd and run linux askmethod.

Correct?

thanks

Right. You can also download one of the test releases and install it. Run yum update and you get the latest development version.

thats what I did - yum update yum and then yum update.

During installation everything looks still like fc4 - no new logo, splash screen or whatever. How can I find out the installed version? Od did I miss a command?

Regards

Stefan

I upgraded with the installation dvd and it worked fine except the Xserver has some issues and my network settings didn't transfer.

I finally got FC5 installed. It seems that I was trying to install FC5 to Buslogic SCSI drive. When I used a normal hard drive, installation went fine.
It seems that Buslogic support has been killed as there is no one to maintain it.
