Strange Totem and "Places" Issue

I am facing a strange issue. My "Places" menu has been messed up for some odd reasons. I have four NTFS partitions shown up under "Places" menu and some other links like Home Folder, Desktop, Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos, Downloads.

Whenever, I click anyone of the aforementioned, totem opens up and tries to play all the multimedia files in that particular folder, e.g.; Clicking Music launches totem with all the audio files loaded in totem playlist and totem starts palying them.

The default behavior should be the opening of that particular folder, I have tried uninstalling totem, but it doesn't help. Clicking a folder under "Places" menu results in an error "
Could not open location 'file:///home/ahsan/Music
Failed to execute child process
"totem" no such file or directory

Can somebody help me in this regard and tell me how can I edit the options/links in "Places"?
