Driver install causing Errors

I posted this in the software forum but it might not have been the right place. I'm using fedora 9 and have installed ndiswrapper under su -. After installing my linksys wusb54g I used the command modprobe. Then I get "Disabling IRQ #19" and everything besides my keyboard becomes useless. How can I get around this?
