remove compiz-fusion & AWM from profile

Hi, I would like to known how to remove an application from my profile at start-up.
I want to remove Compiz-fusion & Avant windows Manager.
Since some application crash in gnome I will like to known if it's because of these app.

I try to remove from System/preferences/Personal/Sessions/Startups Programs/ by unchecking the app nothing, I remove the app in Startups Programs nothing, It still load when I boot my session.
Is there any config file where I can remove these?

I don't want to un-install the apps just remove from my profile.

thank you.
