Question MSI K8N Neo w/ .14 BIOS (Cool 'n Quiet)

Anyone notice that with Cool 'n Quiet enabled in BIOS the machine runs faster and generates higher temperatures than with it turned off? Maybe the setting is backwards from what it says???
