Nautilus Layout - Fedora 9

Is there any way to get Nautilus back in (what I assume is) it's default layout? Similar to how it's laid out in Ubuntu? I just don't like how it opens up a bunch of separate windows for each directory I go into. It takes up space on my Window list too.

Or is the file manager that comes with F9 even nautilus? I just assumed it is since that's traditionally the file manager that comes with Gnome. Just thinking out loud I guess

This is Easy if you have the Gnome Configuration editor installed.
Under Apps, then Nautilis then preferences set it to browser mode.
I don't like the default either. Just to bothersome.

try this ..double click Home icon on your desktop. ...then Edit. ...then Preferences ...then click Behavior ...then check Always open in Browser mode. ..then close Nautilus. ...then double click Home again.
