Ethernet connection doesnt work

Hi guys am very new to fedora decided to give F10 a try after using Ubuntu for over year. so far am loving it .. am even thinking of replacing ibex on my personal laptop.. anyway to the problem am having.

i installed F10 32 on my Compaq 6720s so far everything seems to be working except wired connection through the internet port. wireless works fine though without any problem. i updated my system to the latest update

here is the result of
Code:
lspci | grep Network
Code:
00:19.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82562GT 10/100 Network Connection (rev 03)
10:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev 02)
when i try to connect to wired through the network manager i see that the eth0n interface is greyed out. on the wireless interface is available. i also tried ifconfig eth0 but still the same .. eth0 and wired connections works fine on ibex on the same laptop so its not the network cable

any help would be appreciated ...

Seems to be a bug already: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...22/+bug/151887

Check if 'pci=noacpi' works for you and check your BIOS.
