ssh problem - Fedora 10

Cannot connect to ssh on Fedora 10! The demon listens on 22 port, I can ping the machine, the firewall is down, everything on the network side is ok but I cannot connect to the ssh.
If I tcpdump the eth0, I see traffic, but no sign of traffic on 22 port!

What's happening?

I believe that you first need to run ssh-keygen on the client computer.

Solved by uncommenting the "Listen on 22" option in sshd_config, and restarted ssh.
Weird thing.

Had a similar issue on FC10(Live) today, turns out the deamon did not start, and was not in the runlevel ..

Started the service, and it automatically generated the Keys.. worked straight after that..

Weird that your conf file has the Listen on Port 22 commented..

I know it's weird, because lsof showed that the service was running on port 22.

I had the Fedora 10 DVD installation.
