fdora 11 maximize window problem

I have installed Fedora 11 x86_64. It seems ok but I have a major problem:
If I maximize a windows in gnome at the corner, the window will not maximize in full screen, but If I drag the window to the centre of the screen and maximize it, the window will be maximized normally to full screen.
Anyone have this problem? How to deal with it. Thanks.

Huh...interesting bug.

I think I can tell, but just to check - do you have compiz enabled? If not, file a bug on metacity (that's the GNOME window manager).

Compiz is not enabled.
If I disable the intel's KMS, the window work normally.

ah, good catch. pretty weird, though. don't know if that means the bug is in metacity or intel. pick one and file it =) we can CC the maintainer of the other.

I have filed a bugzilla on metacity
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=498698

It is still not assigned because there are too many new bugs on metacity. I hope developer will take notice of this soon.
