I'm sorry if this isn't the correct forum for this kind of post however it seemed to me to apply more specifically to this forum rather than on the General help forum.
I became interested in creating my own RPMs and was trying to leafpad compiling test located here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Docs/D...gPackagesGuide (except that I am using leafpad version 0.8.16 rather than 0.8.3). I have followed all of its steps and have gotten some promising results however, after I've corrected what I can, I get an error stating "bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.* (%install)".
I have tried, and tried and I can't figure out what is making it do this. Could someone else please review my .SPEC file and the temp file to see what is going on? I would be most appreciative.
