Fedora 11 Powerbook G4 Fail

I boot of the DVD (holding down the C key at boot time).
Then type linux at the boot: promt.
Then the isntaller hangs on:
Code:
console handover: boot [udbg0] -> real [tty0]
It sits there for a few minutes then reboots.
Please advise.

I don't know exactly how you are doing that but I'm running fedora on a Powerbook g4. the difference is with the installation dvd loaded, I pressed the alt/option key at boot time and a screen with 2 buttons showed up, I selected the cd and installation of fedora began almost automatically, I hope this helps.

Thanks - I think I actually have a hardware problem. Will be working on it now.
Cheers

Hey, or your DVD image is corrupted, check it. I installed F11 in my powerbook g4 without problems pressing C key at boot.

BTW: if you are a KDE user, do not install gnome or you will have problems.
