I think the glitches are now fewer.
The avidemux2 video editor still has brief audio gaps every 2-6 seconds, and the CPU is close on 100% even when the video is made tiny.
And mplayer has problems with both the alsa and pulse audio decoders: in alsa the stream can freeze, requiring one or more seeks to restart. While in pulse there is no freezing, but seeking is slower than alsa, and the audio turns to white noise on occasions. Overall, pulse is better for mplayer: Add line to ~/.mplayer/config. |
Can you point me to where the "posted parameter tweaks" are posted? Or are those the only ones?
