Citrix problem

I am having a problem with Citrix in Firefox.

If I start firefox from a console, then I can launch applications with no problem but if I start firefox from the Kickoff Application Launcher (I'm using KDE), I can't launch any applications. All that happens is that the Citrix Receiver pops up and immediately disappears.

Any ideas as to what might be the problem would be appreciated.
