I've just fitted my third WDC hard disk to this computer and its already got 2 bad sectors (current pending sector count).
I'm starting to wonder if its a Fedora problem.
First of I had a WD Caviar Blue 500Gb boot drive die on me.
The I had a WD Caviar Black 500Gb boot drive die on me within hours.
Now a WD Caviar Black 1Tb data drive is dying on me after a couple of hours.
This has to be some sort of WDC/Linux kernel bug or something doesn't it? Its not the motherboard or controller or cable as the SSD I now boot from is working fine.
motherboard is Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 iP55 (think sata is intel ich10 in ahci mode)
