Question 2.6.36 and nvidia

Hi all,

I am tryingto buld kernel 2.6.36-1from fc15 / rawhide for my F13 workbox(can't upgrade duetosome legacy userspace stuff :>)
Unforunatly I need 2.6.36 to get my USB 3.0 stuff working properly. 2.6.35 USB 3.0 support is wackyas hell. 2.6.34 onlydetect USB3.0 devices once,on replugthey gt USB 2.0 :>
Kernel 2.6.36-1 works fine, unfortunatly I can't seem to get the nvidia.ko module to build when running the nvidia 260.xx.x installer:

FATAL: modpost: GPL-incompatible module nvidia.ko uses GPL-only symbol 'debug_lockdep_rcu_enabled'

Any help any tipps? I allready chopped the kernels debug switches.

Unfortuantly this thread is closed http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=253668 where someone had a solution for 2.6.35 but not described it how he achievedit and how to achieve it by a rebuliding src.rpm (which I intend to)

Regards

Re: 2.6.36 and nvidia

Is there a rational reaseon
Code:
yum install fedora-packager
exit
fedpkg co -B kernel -a
cd kernel/master
make release
fedpkg local
works and
Code:
rpm -Uvh ~/Downloads/kernel-2.6.36-1.fc15.src.rpm
cd ~/rpmbuild/SPECS
rpmbuild -bb --with baseonly --with firmware --without debuginfo --target=$(uname -m) kernel.spec
does not??? Did you changyany .config switches?

Regards

Running `make release` disables the extra debugging, no manual editing is required
