Re: ipod touch & photos

you just click on the mounted device and put them in the photos folder.

Re: ipod touch & photos

When I plug in my iPod touch it mounts and then I click on it an open it as a nautilus window. I put photos in the DCIM folder and they show up in the Saved folder in the Photo button on the Ipod touch screen. I find, however, that I use drop box more often because it works with Linux and Windows to sync things onto the iPod touch.

Re: ipod touch & photos

no. Fedora just works with the iPod touch. You shouldn't need to install anything. When you plug it in then the dialog boxes pop up asking if you want to open Shotwell and Rhythmbox.

Can you put music on it through Rhythmbox? Is it even mounted? What does your lsusb say?

Re: ipod touch & photos

I have been able to use gtkpod to install photos on my ipod touch.

the mount point is /home /.gvfs and it looks like the ipods file system is afc type.

is there any other way to add photos? drag and drop in nautilus will add them to the ipod but they will not be viewable with the photo application on the ipod touch.
