Key Mapping

I just installed F15 on my MacBook Pro 4,1. After a bit of tweaking, I am mostly happy with the install.

However, I am trying to swap the Command Key with the alt key. In previous versions of Fedora, I used xev to find the key value, then used xmodkeys to reassign.

However, in Gnome 3, the command key triggers the overview state, which I think is the same as pressing Alt + F1. Thus, I cannot get the key value.

I tried going into the keyboard shortcut settings and disabling the shortcut for the activity window overview (Alt + F1) but it doesn't stop the command key from triggering it.

Any idea on my next approach? Is Gnome interpreting my command key as Super_L?
