Linpus distro

it says that linpus is based on fedora. i visited the site and looking to a windows installer, tried it. windows installer downloads some 386 MB.
after installation in virtualbox (alongwith windows7 virtualmachine- dualbooting), i observed that distro is very bare-bone. i have enclosed a screenshot & also list of installed packages.
few points.
1. why showing meego repository
2. it appears that grub-legacy being used
3. though distrowatch mentions it being based on fedora, but there is no such mention on linpus website.
4. there are some mix packages from fc15/fc16
5. i m delighted at first seeing a wobi type installer for fedora. I will not say that i am completely disappointed. For someone looking to start from a very minimal fedora, this is a good try.
i have not seen any thread for this, so i strated this one to ask whether anybody tried this
