eclipse problem

Hi everyon,
I am using eclipse in fedora 16.Everthing was OK until system updated. At first, my jdk version is 1.6, the system got automatic update to 1.7 and eclipse also updated. Now I can't even compile my program. I tried to use “yum remove” to unistall eclipse and reinstall it, but it didn't work. I am a novice in linux. How can I do to recovery my eclipse?

You could try the following. First ensure that Eclipse is not running and look for a folder folder named ".eclipse" in your home folder. You can try backing up this folder using 'mv ~/.eclipse{,_backup}' and then try starting up Eclipse again. See if this fixes your issue.
