Exclamation High CPU Temperature!

My temperature widget shows that my CPU temperature is about 83 degrees C!

I admit my system is a bit crammed (micro-ATX motherboard with an AMD Phenom II X6 and ATI HD 6290 put in a not so big cabinet) but I don't see such high temperatures on Windows.
80 degrees is the temperature reported just after I log in.

Is there anything I can do about this other without changing my hardware?

Thanks
