first off, im running fedora 16 KDE on a thinkpad t420 with my disk partitioned 1/2 and 1/2 w/ win7.
ive had fedora installed for about 4 months, and ive noticed that the boot time is getting slower and slower. from grub to login screen its 1min, 33sec. one entire minute of that is it hanging on "starting permit user sessions". now, this is still better than my windows startup time, but i feel like it should only be 25-30 seconds.
google only turned up
something about SElinux, but it was unrelated i think.
can someone help me out? i dont have very much experience with boot process operation stuff.
thanks in advance.
