live install... with updates???

Is there a way to do a live install with the most recent updates?
I meant like you do with the installation DVD when you enable the updates repo...
I was thinking with a usb and some persisting space??? did anyone tried this already?

Re: live install... with updates???

As far as I know, you have to use DVD installation media to install updates when installing the OS.

Re: live install... with updates???

Sorry, can't offer any advice on a live install with the most recent updates, but what I usually do is a network install, so I can get the most recent updates. This does limit you from experiencing the OS before an install, but if you also have a live cd or plan on using the OS anyway, it might be the way to go.
The combo of downloading both isos (net and live) also would be potentially less downloading than the dvd if bandwidth might be a bit of a concern. It becomes even nicer if you have a CD-RW handy, so you don't waste discs.

use updated live cd iso provided by ben williams at http://jbwillia.fedorapeople.org/
or
better to create a updated live cd iso (backup option in autoplus by dangermouse)

The Network Install CDs are on the Get Fedora page under Direct Download: http://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora-all
