Snort in Fedora Core 16 - x64

Hello guys, i come to your help once more. Can anyone tell me how to install snort in Fedora Core 16 64 bit? The package that appears in the site is for fedora 15 but when i try to install it, it tells me that there is a library that is missing and i cannot install it from yum.

Could you post what library it is that is not present? Please post more information about the problem you encounter.

On F16 this output is not very promissing, but try on your F15 anyway:

yum provides libsfbpf.so.0

Geladene Plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit

Hey, it worked!! Thanks

i used that and it told me to install daq....

i went to the snort website and installed daq. tryed to install tha package again ainda it worked.
